INTRODUCTION

The Office of the Legal Cell/Litigation Cell supports the dynamic educational environment of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan by providing legal advice to foster sound decision-making in all areas of operation, instruction, research and administration.

VISION AND MISSION

Our function is to provide, manage and coordinate quality legal assistance including supervising and engaging legal counsel and representation, litigation and legal contract drafting and review, compliance oversight and other services to all parts of the University, As part of these services, Legal Cell facilitates in decision-making to the Board of Studies, ASRB, Provost, Deans and Directors, faculty, supervisors and other employees acting in their capacity as employees. Legal Cell provides advice on the legal implications of policy and other decisions under applicable law, regulations, and policies, in addition to representing the University in litigation matters, administrative and regulatory hearings, and significant business transactions.

It is the goal of our Office to provide counsel to minimize legal risk and costs, reduce litigation exposure, and ensure legal compliance, and to do so efficiently, expeditiously, reliably and professionally.

The mission of the Legal Cell is to provide outstanding legal services in a responsive, efficient, prompt and professional manner to the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, upholding the rule of the law and defending the Act, Statutes, Regulations and Rules of the University.
