All humans are dead except those who have knowledge; and all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds; and those who do good deeds are deceived, except those who are sincere; and those who are sincere are always in a state of worry.”
Imam Shafi’i (Rhmatullah Alaih)
Economics is a science of thinking, reasoning, rules establishment, needs recognition and need fulfillment in a dynamic and competitive environment. We, in the department of economics, teach the students how to think critically as well as practically for the benefit of self and the benefits of others. We just don’t educate, we inculcate knowledge and reason. Our aim is to produce a workforce which is not only effective but responsible and which knows our economic issues from the roots. Our students do not build the wall when the wind blows; rather they learn to build windmills.
The students learn to spend wisely and know their preferences. Economics department has urged and practised punctuality, discipline and civic virtue. We believe in the value and we practice value. Our students are a change product when they leave us and this is what we strive for. As Bobby Scott once said “it is virtually impossible to compete in today’s economy without a college degree”, we make the degree a means to compete in all spheres of life.
If you want to become competitive; come study with us.
