“Our mission is to deliver innovative, world-class veterinary education, clinical care, and research. We aim to advance the field of veterinary surgery, theriogenology and clinical medicine by providing state-of-the-art diagnostic, surgical, and reproductive services. We are committed to training the next generation of veterinary professionals and scientists through hands-on learning and cutting-edge research. By establishing outreach centers and laboratories, we extend our research outcomes and clinical services to underserved farmers, veterinarians, and para-vets, contributing to improved animal health and welfare across the region.
Future Plans
- Development of Advanced Diagnostic Facilities
We plan to establish a state-of-the-art molecular diagnostic laboratory for infectious diseases, which will enhance our capacity to provide accurate and timely diagnoses, benefiting both the veterinary field and animal owners.
- Expansion of Research and Outreach Programs
Our department is committed to conducting field-based research with a focus on addressing the needs of small-scale farmers. We aim to extend research findings directly to end-users, including farmers, veterinarians, and para-vets, through our outreach and extension programs.
3.·Enhancement of Surgical Care and Training
Our goal is to provide the best possible care to animals requiring surgical services by integrating cutting-edge techniques, minimally invasive procedures, and state-of-the-art technology. Additionally, we aim to expand our educational programs in veterinary surgery and related fields, training the next generation of veterinary surgeons and health professionals.
- 4. Development of Reproductive and Embryology Services
We plan to establish a modern embryology laboratory and offer advanced reproductive diagnostic and treatment services, including semen testing. This initiative will enhance the department’s capacity to address reproductive health issues in animals and provide specialized care in theriogenology.

Our future research programs will focus on producing new knowledge that contributes to practical veterinary solutions. By conducting problem-oriented research and translating findings into practical applications, we will continue to push the boundaries of veterinary clinical practice.
- 24/7 Clinical and Extension Services
We aim to provide round-the-clock clinical and extension services to ensure that farmers and animal owners have access to veterinary care when needed, improving overall animal health and productivity across the region.
