VISION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Education in AWKUM was established in 2009. The introduction of B.Ed and M.Ed programs were conceived by the Administration from the very first day. Keeping in view the needs and aspirations of people across the region, M. Phil program has also been started by the department.  The vision of the department is to provide trained professional and teacher in the field of education along with a skilled researcher. This department focuses on the pre-service teacher education that entails the use of modern technology and teaching strategies in the profession of teaching as well as in the area of educational research. This Department of Education strives hard to develop the intellectual, moral, professional and academic capabilities of the youth and would further channelize their intrinsic energies towards the attainment of cherished goals.
