Mr. Shaukat Ali Khattak, PhD Scholar at Lancaster University UK, participated in three weeks summer school " European School On Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies "  from 26 Aug to 15 Sept 2012 at Grenoble, France.

The School was organized by.

1-Université Joseph Fourier (UJF) and 

2-Grenoble Institut National Polytechnique (Grenoble INP)" 

while their co-organizers were

1-CNRS, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique

2-CEA, Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux énergies alternatives

3-Q-NET, Quantum Nanoelectronics Training, Project event

50 people were chosen from all over the Europe to participate in the School. Mr Shaukat attended  51 hrs lectures & 7 practicals on various aspects of Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies. The academic and practical courses covered aspects such as the elaboration, characterization and functionalities of nano-objects. The program emphasized the role of laboratory courses (half of the program was devoted to practical work).

He had both oral and poster presentation on his project in the School.
