Signed MOUs With Forein Universities

AWKUM has signed MOUs with the following foreign universities for academic collaboration.

1. BRUNEL UNIVERSITY LONDON.
2. BIRMINGHAM CITY UNIVERSITY UK.
3. SHEFEILD UNIVERSITY UK.
4. LEICESTER UNIVERSITY UK.
5. SCHOOL OF ORIENTAL AND AFRICAN STUDIES (S.OA.S), LONDON UNIVERSITY.
6. READING UNIVERSITY UK.

Discussions are being held also with the following universities and it is hoped that MOUs will be signed with them soon.

1. UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX UK.
2. UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW.
3. QUEEN MARY UNIVERSITY, LONDON.
4. UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA, KUALALAMPUR, MALAYSIA.
5. UNIVERSITY OF ROSTOCK GERMANY.

The collaboration consists of Staff Exchange Programme, Joint Research, Split-Site PhD study programmes and Tuition Fees reductions offered to the PhD scholars who are engaged in the PhD studies at these universities
So far 24 PhD Faculty members have benefited and have received tuition fee reductions.
Although Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was established only 3 years ago and has signed MOUs with more foreign universities than any other public sector university in the country.
This is all because of the dynamic attitude and professional status of the current Vice-Chancellor and his Senior Academics Colleagues of AWKUM, who are working hard day and night to keep close contacts with their counterparts in these foreign universities and are engaged in joint academic activities.
