ABDUL WALI KHAN UNIVERSITY MARDAN

Review committee of PhD Scholars of the Higher Education Commission Islamabad visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Vice Chancellor Gomel University Prof  Dr. Mansoor Akbar Kundi, Vice Chancellor Agriculture University, Prof Dr. Bahadar Khan, Pro-Rector Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute Prof.Dr. Khalid were members of the committee. They visited different departments of the University, including library, Museum, Sports Ground, Examination Halls, Class rooms and several offices of the administration. The Committtee appreciated the contribution of AWKUM in promoting higher education.

Earlier the honourable vice chancellor chaired a meeting with the review committee of PhD scholarships HEC and briefed them about awkum. Members of the committee call on Deans and faculty members and asked them about the faculty members and asked them about the procedure of the scholarships. The committee expressed satisfaction over the transparent and effective procedure of awarding scholarships. They found the procedure exactly as prescribed by the Higher Education Commission Islamabad, they said, Director QEC, Prof.   Dr, Said Khan Khalil, Dean of Sciences, Prof Dr. Yasmin Nawaz, Dean of Arts Prof Dr. Zahoor-ul-Haq Dean of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Mukhtiar Alam, Registrar Muhammad Tariq, Director Finance Arsh-ur-Rahman, Provost Ibrar Hussain Umarzai, Director Admin Pir Asfandyar and several other officials also attended the gathering.
