The candidates applying for TTS should prepare a comprehensive application dossier that includes two letters of reference from eminent academicians and researchers (Not to be Teachers of the applicant) in their area of specializations and all publications in refereed journals recognized by HEC. Qualification & Experience

PROFESSORS (TTS) PACKAGE (Rs.234000-11440-405600)
PhD/relevant terminal degree from a recognized and reputable institution in the relevant field with 11 years Post-PhD experience/relevant terminal degree or minimum of 7 years of post-PhD experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the Ph.D. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International Organization. In addition 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in Internationally Abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission.

PROFESSORS (BPS-21) REGULAR BASIS
15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals)

a) PhD from HEC recognized University/Institution in the relevant field with 15 years teaching and research experience in HEC recognized University or Postgraduate institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National/International organization.

b) 10 years Post-PhD teaching and research experience in a recognized University or Postgraduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National / International Organization.


ASSOCIATE ROFESSORS (TTS)  PACKAGE (Rs.156000- 9100-292500)
PhD/relevant terminal degree from a recognized and reputable institution in the relevant field with 6 years Post-PhD experience/relevant terminal degree or minimum of 4 years of post-PhD experience with at least 6 years of experience prior to Ph.D. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International Organization. In addition 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the past 5 years) in Internationally Abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS (BPS-20) REGULAR BASIS
10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized journals)

a) PhD in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution with 10 years teaching and research experience in HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant in a National/International Organization.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS (BPS-20) REGULAR BASIS (IT/Computer Sciences)
12 research publications (with al least 3 publications by the calendar years 2008, respectively in HEC /PEC recognized journals)

a) PhD from HEC recognized University/Institution in the relevant field with 7 years teaching and research experience in HEC recognized University or Postgraduate institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National/International organization.

ASSISTANT PROFESSORS (TTS) PACKAGE (Rs.1040000-7150-211250)
PhD from a recognized University/Relevant terminal qualification from a recognized institution and excellent written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills. Excellent written and communication skills to be judged through the institute selection process by written test/ seminar.


ASSISTANT PROFESSORS (BPS-19) REGULAR BASIS
Ph. D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution.
OR
Master’s degree (foreign) or M. Phil (Pakistan) or equivalent degrees after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University /Institutions. 04 years teaching / research experience in a recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution or Professional experience in a National / International Organization.

 

LECTURERS (BPS-18)
First Class Master’s Degree OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution.
