Abdul Wali Khan university Mardan has purchased the latest scanner machine to facilitate the students of the university. It is purchased on sixteen million and imported from Austria. It can scan automatically three thousand pages within an hour. It also digitally arranges the pages. Prof Dr. Ihsan Ali, Vice Chancellor AWKUM has inaugurated the machine During the occasion the chief Engineer of Treventous Company, Christophe Batcher, briefed the Vice Chancellor about the scanner. The Vice Chancellor said that the provision of scanner will help the majority of the students. Now a book will be easily provided to the thousands of students. It can save the data in soft form for a long time and unlimited students. This will also raise the standards of the university according to the modern and international standards. In charge I.T, Rehan, Deputy Provost Ibrar Hussain Umarzai, Deputy Director Finance Arsh-ur-Rehman, Deputy Registrar Tariq Mehmood & Spokesman of the university Abid Mehmood were also present on the occasion.
