one day conference was held on the 31st of January, 2012, at The University of Essex in which all the post graduate research students of the Department of Mathematical Sciences gave talks on their researches/projects which was attended by Professors, Students and some foreign Judges to decide the best performer. Mr. Zardad Khan (Lecturer in Statistics, Dept. of Mgt. Science, Anbar Campus, AWKUM) who is currently doing PhD at The University of Essex, UK, was declared the best performer and given the prize for 1st position.
