A one day workshop on “Self Assessment Report Writing” has been organized by QEC AWKUM on December 12, 2012 at Main Campus Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. Program Teams (PT) members from four departments and Deans of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan attended the workshop.

The workshop started with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Mr. Shah Hussain Awan (Deputy Director QEC) welcomed the participants and introduced the resource person. Madam Asia Naz from Department of Education AWKUM and Deputy Director QEC conducted the workshop.
Prof Sher Ali Khan (Registrar AWKUM) chaired the workshop and acknowledged the efforts of resource persons. He briefly addressed the session about the Self Assessment process at the department level and role of Program Teams. He also stressed that Program Teams plays a key role in improving the overall quality of education at department and institutional level both. He further stressed about the in time delivery of the SAR because if the reply from the Program Teams is prompt than QEC will be able to facilitate the Self Assessment process and coordinate efficiently with Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
