PhD/relevant terminal degree from a recognized and reputable institution in the relevant field with 11 years Post-PhD experience/relevant terminal degree or minimum of 7 years of post-PhD experience with at least 12 years of experience prior to the Ph.D. The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International Organization. In addition 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the past 5 years) in Internationally Abstracted Journals, recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by the Higher Education Commission.

1.           PhD from HEC recognized University/Institution in the relevant field with 15 years teaching and research experience in           HEC recognized University or Postgraduate institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a           National/International organization.

OR

1.           10 years Post-PhD teaching and research experience in a recognized University or Postgraduate Institution or           Professional experience in the relevant field in a National / International Organization.

PROFESSORS (BPS-21) REGULAR BASIS (IT/Computer Sciences)
12 research publications (with at least 3 publications in the last 5 years in HEC /PEC recognized journals)

1. PhD Degree in the relevant field, from University/Institution recognized by HEC in consultation with PEC. 15 years teaching and research experience in a recognized University/Institution/College or 12 years Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization out of which 5 years must be teaching experience.

OR

1. 10 years post PhD teaching and research experience in an HEC recognized University or Postgraduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

PROFESSORS (BPS-21) REGULAR BASIS (LAW)
15 research publications (with al least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals)
(a)           Ph.D in Law or equivalent degree from HEC recognized University/Institution with 15 years teaching and research experience in an HEC recognized University or post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in an National or International Organization.
OR
(b)           L.L.M, J.D or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution 17 years teaching and research experience (with at least 8 years experience after L.L.M/J.D or equivalent degree in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
