Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, the Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan visited University of Oxford, UK on August 9, 2012. He was received by Mr. Amjad Khan, the Secretary General of Oxford University Pakistan Society. During his stay, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali visited Chemistry Research Laboratory (CRL), where Dr. Tim Claridge, the Director of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR) lab briefed the Vice-Chancellor about the various aspects of the nuclear lab. Oxford CRL is one of top chemistry research lab of the world.The honourable Vice Chancelloralso visited Christ Church, Wooster College, and Oxford university club. Prior to his visit a dinner was arranged for the honourable Vice Chancellor hosted by Oxford University Pakistan Society. Amongst the other guests were Syed Aqil Shah, The Minister for Sports, Tourism, and Archaeology, KPK and Dr. Haider Ali Khan, MPA from Swat. It is also worth to mention that Mr. Amjad Khan (an AWKUM Scholar) has completed his M.Phil from University of Oxford and is now enrolled on Ph.D degree programme.
