The Worthy Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Barrister Masood Kausar Visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and inaugurated the New Building of the academic block at University College of Science at Shankar. He visited and examined the labs of different departments and exchanged certain views with the students. He expressed joy and appreciated strongly the vision of the Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof Dr Ihsan Ali whose efforts turned it a great seat of learning.

The Vice Chancellor AWKUM Prof Dr Ihsan Ali gave an exclusive briefing regarding the journey of three years of the university. It was brought in the kind notice of the honourable Governor that how this campus was developed from a retarded building into a seat of quality education. In his speech on the occasion his Excellency Governor Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa has expressed his special attachment with Benazir University Sheringal Dir and Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. He reiterated on quality education and appreciated the efforts of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hooti for his vision in promoting the cause of education.
