Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan Signs MoU with University of Rostock, Germany
Prof. Dr. Peter langer, Head of the Department of Chemistry, University of Rostock, Germany visited Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan and delivered a lecture to students and faculty of AWKUM. Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, Vice - Chancellor, AWKUM gave an impressive presentation on establishment and development of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan during last 3 years.
An MoU was signed between Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan and University of Rostock, Germany. The MoU was jointly signed by Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, Vice - Chancellor, AWKUM and Prof. Dr. Peter Langer. Under the MoU University of Rostock, Germany would arrange three to six months training programme for two faculty members of AWKUM every year and the expenses would be borne by the University of Rostock.
Moreover the University of Rostock would also extend help to the students of AWKUM in connection with their research projects which will enable the students of AWKUM to visit University of Rostock and utilized its research Lab and modern equipments for research purposes.
Each year the University of Rostock would arrange a visit for the toper student from Department of Chemistry, AWKUM or the students would be given books.
