Mr. Kamil Zada MS Scholar Department of Management Sciences has successfully defended his thesis under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Tariq, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics AWKUM and Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel, Chairman, Dept of Management Sciences. The name of his external examiner was Dr Qadir Bakh Balouch, Professor Department of Management Sciences , NUML.

The main theme of his research work was to investigate "The Impact of Terrorism on Foreign Remittances in Pakistan"

The main findings of the research was that the growing terrorism attacks encourage greater remittances inflow in Pakistan during the study period.
The key policy suggestions were that the government should continue its fight against terrorism because of its adverse consequences both for the domestic and foreign sectors of the economy. Moreover, effective policy measures are also required from government side for the proper utilisation of the remittances inflow in Pakistan.
