A one day workshop on the utilization of HEC digital Library resources was held on 24th of May, 2016 in the conference room of the Library. Over 30 participant including Director IT, librarians, researchers and nominees of the head of the departments attended the workshop. In her opening remarks Naveeda Ilahi Librarian, said that utilization of HEC digital resources is one of the top priorities of the library, as a big amount is spent on the accessibility of such resources and conduction of such workshop is definitely essential for building awareness among the scholars of the university.

Mr. Haseeb Assistant Librarian delivered a lecture on the efficient use of the HEC digital Library. Workshop was unique as participants were briefed regarding different journals, databases, and sites accessible to AWKUM through HEC digital library. House was also briefed regarding some other free and helpful databases and extensions i.e. Proquest dissertation, Lib gen info, Bookzzz and science hub etc.

At the end it was concluded that the same workshop will also be replicated in the other campuses of the university.
