The Business Incubation Center AWKUM organized a one day seminar/exhibition on Women Entrepreneurship "Opportunities & Challenges" on May 16, 2016 in the conference hall Department of Management Sciences in collaboration with Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mardan, SMEDA and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Peshawar. Leading female entrepreneurs like Outfitters, Roshni Embroiders, Saman'Z creations, new X fashion, Stylo, Noreen Asim, S'Z collection displayed their products in the stalls.

The Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali visited the stalls and exchanged his views with students and female entrepreneurs. The Vice Chancellor highly appreciated the efforts of Director, Business Incubation Center, Dr. Shahid Jan Kaka Khel and Coordinator, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan for organizing a successful and creative event. He assured his full support in organizing academic activities for the students in future.
