A team of 64 trainees along with Director, SP Mushtaq Ahmad and Coordinator, Lt.Col (R), Zafar Gul of Police School of Public Disorder and Riot Management Toru visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) on April 26, 2016.

The visit was facilitated by Department of Management Sciences AWKUM. The trainees were given comprehensive sessions on the role of Academia in meeting the corporate social responsibility (CSR). Mr. Shah Hussain Awan, Deputy Director QEC welcomed the participants and delivered presentation on AWKUM achievements till date. The first session was delivered by Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel, Chairman, Department of Management Sciences on CSR and the second session was delivered by Mohammad Shiraz Paracha, Director QEC on effective communication strategies.

The Team also visited the central library. They highly appreciated the efforts of the leadership of AWKUM on establishing state of the Art library in the entire region. They further expressed that under the dynamic leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, AWKUM will be strengthened further which will ultimately foster the education of Pakistan in general and KPK in particular.

In the end, the Director of the School thanked the management of AWKUM for providing a fruitful visit to the trainees and hoped to receive further cooperation in the future.
