The QEC, AWKUM successfully participated in the 8th meeting and workshop of Phase IV QEC's held on March 31 & April 01, 2016 at Regency Hotel Islamabad. Mr. Shah Hussain Awan, Deputy Director QEC, delivered a brief presentation on the progress of QEC AWKUM from July 2014 to June 2015. The following items were presented:

1. Self Assessment Report of five programs
2. Workshops and Seminars conducted by QEC
3. Teacher and Course Evaluation
4. Hurdles/problems faced during implementation of self assessment process

A workshop on Bloom's Taxonomy was held on March 31, 2016. Dr. Rafiq Baloch, Director General Quality Assurance Agency HEC, in his concluding remarks, appreciated the efforts of Quality Enhancement Cells in bringing quality in the higher education institutions. He assured the cooperation of QAA, HEC in facilitating quality standards through QEC's in the universities. Director, Quality Assurance Agency, Mr. Nasir Shah was also present on the occasion.
