Applications are invited from eligible candidates having valid domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Overseas Master/MS/MPhil/PhD Scholarships in the technologically advanced countries of the world in the following disciplines:

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

Requirements |
1. |
The candidates must have First Class Master’s OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/Institution. |
2. |
The Candidates must have a valid IELTS Score of 6.5 (Band) with a minimum of 5.5 in each module or equivalent TOEFL Score (where applicable). |
3. |
Candidates having offer of admission in any of the top 300 universities of the world will be preferred. |
4. |
The candidates who are already availing any other HEC/Govt/University Scholarship are not eligible to apply. |
Submission of Documents:
The following documents are required to be submitted along with application form:-
- Attested photocopies of all educational testimonials.
- Attested photocopy of CNIC.
- Original Bank Deposit Slip of Rs. 1,500/-.
- Unconditional Admission Offer Letter in any of the top 300 universities of the world.
- Valid IELTS / TOEFL Score Card (where applicable).
- CV/Resume.
Important Note:
- Selection will be made by the Scholarship Selection Committee, Selection Board and Syndicate of the University.
- The selectees/awardees will have to execute a bond with Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan to serve the University for a minimum 05 years after completion of PhD and for 02 years in case of Master/MS/MPhil.
- Less than 3.00/4.00 CGPA will be considered Second division.
- The scholarship award will be governed by the terms and conditions of AWKUM as spelled out in Scholarship Award Letter and Deed of Agreement & Surety Bond.
5. Eligibility in all aspects shall be reckoned upon the closing date of advertisement.

- Application Forms can be downloaded from here (Click to Download Form). Printed copy of the application form can also be obtained from HRD Office, Garden Campus, AWKUM.
- Application Form, complete in all respects along with a Bank Deposit Slip of Rs. 1,500/- (non-refundable), as processing fee, in favour of Treasurer, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (A/C No. 01-167-0007-8 Allied Bank Limited, Mardan Cantt, Branch Code 0273) should reach the undersigned by the closing date i.e. Monday, December 21, 2015 (4:00 PM).
