Upon the directives of the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, Timergara campus extended its full support to the people of Dir Lower in the wake of the terrible earth quake that jolted the area.

The coordinator, Mr. Mohibollah, led the rescue mission himself. Ambulance of the Timergara Campus was made available to transfer the victims of the earth quake to the DHQ Timergara. Moreover, the campus provided free transportation to the rescue teams to the most affected areas in the vicinity.

The local people appreciated and lauded the efforts of the AWKUM administration for such a timely and much needed help in this hour of trail and turbulence.
