Dr. Sadeeq ur Rahman, Assistant Professor of Microbiology, College of Veterinary Sciences and AH AWKUM, has been awarded with research funding worth of 40,00,000 Yuan by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Project aimed to investigate dissemination of antibiotic resistance bacteria to human being through animal- origin food in Pakistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and China, Beijing. The research project will start to implement from January 2016. A part of the project will be carried out at CVS&AH AWKUM and part at the China Agricultural University, Beijing. The project aims to establish strong and long term research collaboration between the two institutes.
