Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) launched the second phase of Indigenous on-Campus Training (IOT) under Modern University Governance Program on September 07, 2015 in collaboration with Learning & Innovation Division (LID), Higher Education Commission Islamabad at Garden Campus AWKUM.

The Deputy Director QEC Mr. Shah Hussain Awan welcomed the guests and participants.

The training Coordinator, Dr. Shahid Jan Kakakhel, briefed the audience regarding the rules and regulations of the training program. He stressed on punctuality and advised the participants to be punctual. He further said that those participants who fall short of attendance will not be awarded certificates rather a strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.

Addressing the opening ceremony, the Dean Faculty of Business & Economics Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ul Haq appreciated the HEC training programs for enhancing the professional skills of the administrative staff of the Higher Education Institutions of Pakistan. He thanked the HEC officials for providing a great deal of support and being extremely co-operative. He directed the participants to avail this opportunity and transfer the training contents to their colleagues.
