The 3rd international conference on Computational and Social Sciences, a joint venture of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and University of technology, Malaysia, was held at UTM from August 25-27, 2015.
A total of 110 participants from more than 12 countries participated in the Conference, including Thailand, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Algeria, India, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq and Indonesia.
Prominent scholars and officials from Malaysia attended the Conference anf delivered speeches including Chief Justice, Governor of Local State and Deans of various faculties.
The conference participants were given training through four doctoral workshops in various disciplines. Participants were taken to local King Palace and Governor Secretariat as well.
Conference Chair, Dr. Amir Zaman and Dr. Norma Elyas thanked the participants for actively participating in the Conference. In the final session the participants appreciated the efforts of both the universities in arranging such big events.
Conference Chair, Dr. Amir Zaman announced that more such conferences will be held in future to enhance research culture and urged that it is all due to encouraging leadership of Awkum that has encouraged us to promote the culture of quality research.
