Chitral (Media Incharge Mr.Farid Ahmad BKCC) August 4, 2015 . Since july 16th 2015 Chitral became a victim of floods. Every day and night is bringing destruction for each and every village of chitral. All the roads and bridges are washed away by the floods, many of the villages are cutoff from Chitral town. Hundreds of houses, shops, mosques and other building ware destroyed. People are forced to live in open area. In this critical situation Abdul Wali Khan University Chitral Campus on the instruction of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali is helping out the flood victims.

In this regard tents and foods items were distributed amongst the victims of Seen Lasht , Green Lasht and Reshun. Beside these two water tankers are providing safe drinking water one in Reshun and the other in Ayun. An ambulance is also providing services in Ayun & Reshun and the area in between them. A truck of relief items is arrived at Chitral which will be distributed in Garumchashma , Rumboor ,Bumburate and Upper Chitral. These valleys are disconnected from Chitral and the relief items will be carried on shoulder to those valley, In the leader ship of Admin Officer Mr.Muhammad Hassan, The Administrative staff is busy in relief operation.
