A "One day Workshop on Mosquito borne diseases (Dengue) and their Control through Integrated Vector Management (IVM)"was conducted at AWKUM, Buner Campus; the lecture was delivered by Dr. Inamullah Khan (D.Sc), Principal Scientist at Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA), Peshawar" on 11th June 2015. The seminar enhanced the knowledge about Dengue, the Vector Mosquitoes, and its control in Pakistan.

The workshop was attended by the head of the Entomology Division NIFA, Dr. Alamzaib, all the HODs, faculty members and students of the campus, persons from health and Education sectors as well as the regional coordinators of the different NGOs. The audience highly appreciated the workshop and considered it a key stone in the elimination of dengue in Pakistan and elsewhere. The workshop came to an end with the valuable words of Coordinator Buner Campus.
