The workshop was hosted by Department of Sociology AWKUM Timergara Campus where the responsibilities of stage secretary were offered by Mr. Younas student BS 6th Semester Department of Sociology, AWKUM (Timergara Campus). The formal start of the program was taken by recitation of the Holy Quran, which was followed by National Anthem and AWKUM Anthem respectively.

This workshop was chaired by honorable Assistant Professor Mohibullah Coordinator AWKUM (Timergara Campus) who also gave thanks giving speech at the end of the workshop. All the respected HoDs, faculty members and the students of the Department of Computer Science, Department of Management Sciences and Department of Sociology made this event extremely productive.
All the credit goes to the HoD Sociology Mr. Hamad Khan, Teaching Staff, Support Staff, and students;who could arrange this magnificent program in a very short span of time.They in person supervised students in presentation of videos, speeches and slides, depicting the critical social problems faced by the Pakistani Society.

The formal start of work shop was taken at the introduction, historical miles stones and the intervention of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society in Pakistan. It was depicted that the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is an international humanitarian movement working in 189 countries, with approximately 97 million volunteers, members and staff worldwide. The organization continues its struggle to dignify human life and health, ensure respect for all human beings, and to prevent and alleviate human suffering during peace and war through volunteerism, equipping and capacity building of the local.

Slide Presentation and Speeches on 'Poverty', 'Women Rights', 'Child Rights', Child Labour' and 'Disaster Risk Reduction' are worthy to be mentioned here. The event was made more attractive by some poems shared by Saira Shamas Ul Qamar student Department of Sociology from her recently published book where, she criticized the wrong acts of those who destroys the peace of this country and praised all those who worked for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of this disturbed piece of land.

The workshop was ended with the prize distribution ceremony among the student competitors in the categories of speech and multimedia presentation. The honorable coordinator, organizers, the Hods, Administrative Officers and Faculty members also received shields and prizes at the end of the ceremony from Red Cross and Red Crescent Society as souvenir.
