A workshop/ training comprising of two (2) Days titled "Aghaz e Junoon" organized by Pak Khyber Youth Welfare Organization & Directorate of Sports and Youth affairs Khyber PakhtunKhwa (KPK) in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Society Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) was held on May 7-8, 2015 at the Department of Management Sciences, AWKUM.

The purpose of the workshop was to create awareness among the students on leadership and entrepreneurship skills. The students were given various tasks on the current, local and global issues. The students were given various projects to be completed in the future from KPK government.
Addressing at the concluding session of the Workshop, the Chief Guest, Chairman, Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Shahid Jan Kaka Khel highly appreciated the efforts taken by KPK government for the development of leadership qualities in youth. He also acknowledged the efforts of Mr. Shah Hussain Awan (Focal Person - Entrepreneurship Society AWKUM) and his team for organizing a successful and creative event. He assured his cooperation in organizing co-curricular activities for the students in future.

In the end, the Chief Guest distributed certificates and shields among participants.
