A seminar on the topic Conflict, Crises, Culture: Prospects & Challenges was held at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Bacha Khan Campus Chitral on May 05, 2015. Speakers delivered their talk on their respective topic within the umbrella of the mentioned topic for the seminar. Prof. Dr. Nasser Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor Haripur University, Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak, Chairman Department of English, Peshawar University and Prof. Dr. Shah Jehan Syed, Chairman (Ex) Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Peshawar University were the keynote speakers for the seminar.

The Seminar was started with recitation of the Holy Quran and Hamd e Bari Talla. Mr. Zia Ur Rehman Lecturer Deptt: of Management Sciences hosted the event and shared the schedule of the event with the audience and formally began by inviting Mr. Noor Hassan, Coordinator AWKUM, Bacha Khan Campus Chitral to present his welcome speech. Traditional Gifts were presented to the guest speakers along with the Coordinator Campus by Mr. Muhammad Hassan, Asst. Administrative Officer, Campus.

The honorable speakers were then invited one by one to present their talk on their respective topics. The event's first speaker was Prof. Dr. Nasser Ali Khan who delivered his talk on the topic " Role of Higher Education in the Economic Development". Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak was invited then who spoke on the topic "Cultural Heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Special Reference to Chitral". Lastly, Prof Dr. Shah Jehan Syed delivered his lecture on the topic "Role of Media in Development" where he emphasized a great deal on the establishment of a radio station at the campus and re-iterated its importance by promising to have it approved from the Honorable Vice Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali (SI).

The event was concluded with a Questions Answers Session and a meeting of the respected guest speakers with the faculty and administrative staff of Bacha Khan Campus Chitral. The speakers expressed their intense interest in visiting the campus again for yet another seminar and guided the staff with their precious experience for the betterment of the campus and its productivity.
