58th meeting of the Scholarship Selection Committee, AWKUM, was held under the Chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali in the conference room of the Main Campus.
The meeting approved names of 25 administrative staff officers of the University, for Leadership and Professional Development Training, to be held at Massey University, New Zealand.
Massey University is one of the highly prestigious universities of world and academic partner of AWKUM.
The 5 week, Leadership and Professional Development Training, will commence from July 21, 2015 and will end in the last week of August, 2015. During the said training, the administrative staff officers will be given formal administrative training in various fields such as leadership, management and capacity building to help boost their administrative efficiency and skills.
On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that Administrative Staff Officers of any university or institution need to be well trained and equipped so that the institution runs in a desired way. He further added that we will ensure to provide ample opportunities to our administrative staff so that they are professionally strengthened.
