A 01 Day Seminar on “Women Entrepreneurship” organized by Entrepreneurship Society AWKUM in collaboration with Women Business Development Center (WBDC) was held on December 08, 2014 in the Department of Management Sciences.

The main objective of the seminar was to create awareness among the female students regarding entrepreneurship. Ms Nabila Farman (Project Director WBDC) briefed the students about importance of entrepreneurship. She gave live examples of those women who successfully started their own business with the help of WBDC. She further expressed that such events will be organized for female students in the near future in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Society AWKUM.

Addressing at the concluding session of the Workshop, the Chief Guest, Dean Faculty of Science, Professor Dr. Khanzadi Fatima Khattak highly appreciated the efforts of the Chairman, Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Shahid Jan Kaka Khel and Focal Person of Entrepreneurship Society, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan for organizing a successful and creative event for female students. She stressed that female students should come forward to participate in economic condition of the country. She assured her cooperation in organizing academic activities for the female students.
