It is notified for the information of all concerned that the University will remain closed w.e.f December 17th-19th, 2014 (both day inclusive) on account of mourning in connection with loss of innocent lives in the catastrophe that took place on December 16, 2014 at Army Public School, Peshawar. The Vice Chancellor, staff and students of AWKUM are deeply shocked and console with the staff, students and parents of bereaved families.

However, administrative offices and offices of the Chairpersons will remain functional as normal.
