A 3 Day Workshop/training on "Active Citizens" organized by British Council & PEAD foundation in collaboration with Entrepreneurship Society Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was held on November 25-27, 2014 in the Department of Management Sciences.

The purpose of the workshop was to create awareness among the students on Active Citizenship. The students were given various tasks on the current, local and global issues. The students will also be engaged in various projects of the British Council in the future.

Addressing at the concluding session of the Workshop, the Chief Guest, Dean Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Jehanzeb Khalil highly appreciated the efforts of the Chairman, Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Shahid Jan Kaka Khel and Focal Person of Entrepreneurship Society, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan for organizing a successful and creative event. He assured his cooperation in organizing co-curricular activities for the students.
In the end, the Chief Guest distributed certificates among the participants.
