The delegation of AWKUM, comprising of the Chairman, Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Sher Afzal and Director, Human Resource Development (HRD), Dr. Amir Zaman held a meeting with the officials of University of Technology, Malaysia (UTM).

The agenda of the meeting was to finalize the overall activities and schedule of the 3rd International Conference on Computational and Social Sciences, to be held from August 25-27, 2015 at University of Technology, Malaysia.

The 3rd International Conference on Computational and Social Sciences is a joint venture of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and University of Technology Malaysia.

On the occasion the Conference Co-Chair and Director HRD, Dr. Amir Zaman reiterated that the Conference and other such activities will bridge the gap between the academia on both sides thus enabling both the universities to work together for raising the standard of higher education and research on both sides. He further added that it's a marvelous achievement for AWKUM., a new born university, to hold an International Conference in collaboration with UTM, one of the finest universities of the world, ranked 294 as per the QS World University Rankings 2014/15.
