Chairman, Higher Education Commission, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar on Thursday visited Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, a press release said. Vice-Chancellor, University of Haripur, Prof. Dr. Nasser Ali Khan and former World Champion of Squash, Mr. Qamar Zaman were also present. Prof. Dr. Mukhtar reiterated that the Garden Campus, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, will be unveiled as a great university in the near future. He also added that the expenditure that is being carried out on the university is the need of the hour and will contribute vastly in solving the problems our country is facing. He further said that the design of Garden Campus is a piece of Architectural art and we wish it gets ready soon and see it occupied with students, faculty and staff. He also added that it felt really good visiting the Garden Campus and witnessing its utmost beauty. Earlier, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali escorted Prof. Dr. Mukhtar and inspected various portions of the Garden Campus including Library, Academic Blocks, Administration Blocks and roads. On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali said that departments are being shifted to Garden Campus step wise and by the end of this year all departments will have shifted to Garden Campus. He further added that in the field of Higher Education, Garden Campus is the biggest project and for its completion the administration is busy working day and night.
