A one day workshop/training was organized by the Entrepreneurship Society, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on October 28, 2014 in the Department of Management Sciences.

The purpose of the workshop was to equip AWKUM graduates with basic entrepreneurial skills, fostering innovation and inculcating business ideas. Mr. Salman Ahmad, from Peshawar 2.0, was the resource person. The students were given various tasks to make business models.
Addressing at the concluding session of the workshop, the Chief Guest, Dean Faculty of Arts Professor Dr. Jehanzeb Khalil appreciated the efforts of the Chairman, Department of Management Sciences, Dr. Shahid Jan Kaka Khel and Focal Person of Entrepreneurship Society, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan for organizing a successful and creative event. He assured his cooperation for providing opportunities in organizing entrepreneurial activities for the students.

In the end, the Chief Guest distributed certificates among the participants.
