The two day Disaster Management Training Workshop Phase-II was completed on October 29, 2014 at the Main Campus, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.

The Phase-II of the Disaster Management Training Workshop was organized by University Advancement Cell & Career Development Centre for AWKUM students in collaboration with the Rescue-1122 Mardan. The Phase-I was also held at the Main Campus on 28-29th August in which the drivers, security guards and other staff of the university were trained.

After Completion of the training, AWKUM DISASTER MANAGEMENT SOCIETY (DMS) was formally established and a large pool of students joined to work in the society.

In the end, certificate distribution ceremony was held in which the Chief Guest, Dr. Haris Habib, District Emergency Officer (RESCUE-1122 Mardan) awarded the participants with certificates.

On the occasion, the University Advancement Cell & Career Development Centre distributed First Aid Boxes among all the University Departments.
