Abdul Wali Khan University Marketing Society (AMS) was established on September 30, 2014 under the platform of University Advancement Cell & Career Development Centre.

The first meeting of the Marketing Society was held at the Main campus. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Director University Advancement Cell & Career Development, Miss Faiza Faiz Malik. A number of students as well as the staff members of University Advancement Cell & Career Development were also present in the meeting.

The agenda of the meeting was to establish and approve a formal body of Abdul Wali Khan University Marketing Society (AMS) for the upcoming events. The statutes of the established Society were also discussed In the meeting, the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Event Manager and other fifteen students were elected as members of the Marketing Society (AMS) through Society elections.

The students were elected against the mentioned positions through society elections:
President: Muhammad Musa Khan
Vice President: Anila Khalil
General Secretary: Shahab Ahmed Faiz
Event Manager: Jawad Nasir

In the end, Miss Faiza Faiz Malik congratulated the elected members of the society and encouraged them to actively play their role in the marketing of the university.
