Dr. Salihuddin, Associate Professor/Chairman Department of Islamic Studies, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Hasan Gonen, Rector Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Turkey on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Turkey.

Prof. Dr. Abdulla Acar, Vice Dean Faculty of Ilahiya` at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, Elif Kara, International Relations Officer and Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad, Mevlana Exchange Student of AWKUM at Eskisehir Osmangazi University, were also present in the meeting.

Dr. Hafiz Salihuddin extended sincere thanks to the worthy Rector Eskisehir Osmangazi University for inviting the faculty and students of AWKUM to Osmangazi University under the umbrella of Mevlana Exchange Programe. He also presented the documentary of AWKUM in the meeting. Dr. Salihuddin presented AWKUM shield to the Rector, Osmagazi University as a symbol of love and thanks from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.

The worthy Rector, Prof. Dr. Hasan Gonen was extremely pleased and reiterated that he will definitely pay a visit to Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan and will meet with the Vice Chancellor AWKUM, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali for further enhancing and strengthening the academic relations between the two universities. He further added that next year students of Osmangazi University will be sent to AWKUM under the umbrella of Mevlana Exchange Programme.
