Dr. Hafiz Salihuddin, Associate Professor/Chairman Department of Islamic Studies, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, visited Yalgram University Ankara, Turkey on September 19, 2014 where he held a meeting with the Acting Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences.

In the meeting, Dr. Salihuddin presented a documentary on AWKUM and briefed the attendees of the meeting with the matchless contributions of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali in introducing and reviving the standard of education in the region as well as in the province. Furthermore, he also explained the enormous success AWKUM achieved during the 5 and half years since it was established. The members of the meeting were also briefed with the international academic linkages that AWKUM holds and its plans on establishing further academic linkages with reputed universities of the world.

In the end, the Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, Yalgram University, Turkey presented the university shield to Dr. Hafiz Salihuddin.
