Vice Chancellor, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that the pakhtuns do not lack talent however need of the hour is that they utilize their potential to the maximum and the institutions need to provide them special opportunities so that they could unleash their abilities. This he said while addressing the audience that had gathered in light of the inauguration ceremony of University College of Arts.

The speakers included Principal of the College, Mr. Fazal Sattar Khan Durrani, Prof. Dr. Humayun Huma (S.I), Engineer Jehanzeb Malik, Prof. Nisar Safdar and Dean of Arts, Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khalil.

Prof. Dr. Ali said that the pakhtun culture has its own identity world wide and we all have to play a role for its prosperity. He further announced 50% discount in tuition fees to all the 1st batch students of Arts College. He also announced annual M.phil and PhD scholarships for the Arts College.
Principal UCA, Mr. Fazal Sattar Khan said that Arts College will comprise of Design, Architecture art, history, theory and fine arts departments and it will soon be regarded as the best arts college in the province.
