A two-day workshop on Disaster Management was held in the Main Campus, AWKUM, on August 28th - 29th, 2014. The workshop was organized by the University Advancement Cell & Career Development Centre in collaboration with Rescue-1122 Mardan. The workshop was carried out for the University drivers, security guards and administrative staff.

This Workshop was aimed at training the university staff to cope up with emergency scenarios so that they give the maximum output in disasters or unforeseen events.

In the workshop, the university staff was exposed to various practices and was given training according to various emergency situations. The staff then practically implemented the practices they were taught in the workshop.
