Overseas PhD Scholarships for Faculty Development
APPLICATIONS INVITED

Applications are invited from regular faculty members of AWKUM for Overseas PhD Scholarships in technologically advanced countries in the following subject areas:

1. Archaeology

2. Bio-Chemistry

3. Computer Science

4. Economics

5. English

6. Environmental Sciences

7. Health & Physical Education

8. Home Economics

9. Journalism & Mass Communication

10. Management Sciences

11. Sociology

12. Statistics

13. Tourism & Hospitality

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

01. The Candidates must have a valid IELTS Score of 6.5 (Band) with a minimum of 5.5 in each module or equivalent TOEFL Score and International GRE (where applicable).
02. Maximum age limit is 40 years by the closing date of submission of application forms.
03. Candidates who are already availing HEC/Govt./University or any other Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
04. The candidates must have secured admission in any of the high ranked universities of the world.

Submission of Documents:

The following documents are required to be submitted along with the application forms:-
1. Attested photocopies of all educational testimonials.
2. Attested photocopy of CNIC.
3. Admission Offer Letter
4. Valid IELTS / TOEFL Score Card
5. CV/Resume.
6. Research Proposal.
7. Statement of Purpose.

Important Note:

01. Candidates will be shortlisted by the University Scholarship Selection Committee.
02. The Awardees will have to execute a bond with the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) to serve the University for at least 05 years, after the completion of their PhDs.
03. During the period of study either salary or stipend will be paid.

01. Application Forms can be downloaded (Click to Download). Printed copy of the application form can be obtained from HRD Office, Main Campus, AWKUM.
02. Application Forms, complete in all respects, should reach the office of the undersigned by Friday, September 05, 2014.
