Overseas PhD Scholarships for Faculty Development
APPLICATIONS INVITED
Applications are invited from eligible candidates having valid domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Overseas PhD Scholarships in technologically advanced countries in the following Disciplines:
1. Archaeology |
2. Bio-Chemistry |
3. Computer Science |
4. Economics |
5. English |
6. Environmental Sciences |
7. Health & Physical Education |
8. Home Economics |
9. Journalism & Mass Communication |
10. Management Sciences |
11. Sociology |
12. Statistics |
13. Tourism & Hospitality |
Basic Eligibility Criteria:
| 01. |
The Candidates must have 18 years of education in the relevant subject with CGPA not less than 3.0 out of 4.0 and should not have more than two 2nd Divisions and no 3rd Division in the entire academic career. |
| 02. |
The Candidates must have a valid IELTS Score of 6.5 (Band) with a minimum of 5.5 in each module or equivalent TOEFL Score. |
| 03. |
Maximum age limit is 35 years except for candidates working on regular basis in Public Sector whose maximum age limit is 40 years by the closing date of submission of applications. |
| 04. |
Candidates who are already availing HEC/Govt./University or any other Scholarship are not eligible to apply. |
Submission of Documents:
The following documents are required to be submitted along with application form:-
1. Attested photocopies of all educational testimonials.
2. Attested photocopy of CNIC.
3. CV/Resume.
4. Research Proposal.
5. Statement of Purpose.
Important Note:
| 01. |
Candidates will be shortlisted by the University Scholarship Selection Committee. |
| 02. |
Shortlisted candidates will be offered faculty positions after qualifying the University Selection Board. |
| 03. |
The Awardees will have to execute a bond with the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) to serve the University for at least 05 years after completion of the study. |
| 04. |
During the period of study either salary or stipend will be paid. |

Application Forms can be downloaded (Click to Download). Printed copy of the application form can be obtained from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Main Campus and also from Buner, Chitral, Pabbi, and Timergara campuses of AWKUM. |

Application Form, complete in all respects along with a Bank Deposit Slip of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable), as processing fee, in favour of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (A/C No. 01-167-0007-8 Allied Bank Limited, Mardan Cantt, Branch Code 0273) should reach the undersigned by
