International Youth Day was celebrated at the Buner Campus, Abdul Wali khan University Mardan, in collaboration with Right to Play organization. The purpose of the celebration was to recognize efforts of the world’s youth in enhancing global society. The program was attended by HOD’s of the Departments of Management Sciences, Zoology, Computer science, staff members and students. The program commenced with recitation of the Holy Quran. Students presented various speeches, National songs and dramas explicating the role of youth in the society.

Mr. Syed Bahar Ali welcomed all the guests and explicated in his speech that youth is the asset of any country which is why the living nations regard the students and youth as the builders of future and pay special focus on healthy competitions and recreational events for positive utilization of their energies. All the participating students were awarded with shields in order to honor their spectacular performances.

In the end, Mr. Waqas Ahmad shams, in-charge Bazm-e-Adab Society Buner Campus, thanked all the guests and said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had special liking and love for the youth and students.
