26th meeting of the Selection Board, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, was held on August 09, 2014 under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, at the Main Campus.

In the meeting, permanent members of the Selection Board, Vice Chancellor Kohat University of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak, Ex-IGP and member Public Service Commission, Mr. Aziz Khan, Prof. Dr. Khanzadi Fatima Khattak, Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khalil and subject experts, Prof. Dr. Sohail Ahmad, Dr. Syed Muhammad Sohail and Mr. Fazal Sattar were present.

On the first day of the Selection Board, interviews for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Lecturers in the department of Pharmacy, Computer Science, Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry, Health and Physical Education, Islamic Studies and Arts and Design were arranged.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali reiterated that selection on all posts would be made transparent and on merit. He further added that the candidates' educational background, relevant experience etc would be taken into consideration so that the most competent and deserved ones are recruited.
