The Annual Meeting of AWKUM UK Ph.D scholars was held at the University of Oxford on 26.06.2014. Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, Vice Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, chaired the meeting. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor was briefed on the scholars's academic progress. The Vice Chancellor emphasized that the research carried out by the AWKUM in-house and overseas scholars should contribute to their respective fields and be published in well-known international journals. This shall help in bringing AWKUM in international line.

The scholars were also briefed by the Honorable Vice Chancellor about the various ongoing activities and projects at the university. AWKUM has 36 scholars studying towards their PhD in well-known UK universities under the Faculty Development Program.
