According to the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (HEC) Islamabad, the M. Phil programme of the Department of Education, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, will be accredited in category ‘X’. According to the delegation of NACTE, AWKUM is the only university of the country whose M. Phil programme has been awarded with this recognition. Before this, the B. Ed and M. Ed programme of this department have also been given accreditation.  

On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, while congratulating the Chairman, Department of Education, and members of the faculty, reiterated that Abdul Wali Khan University is the living example of Mardan’s high standard of education that it’s Department of Management Sciences, Computer Science and all programmes of Law have been accredited from HEC. In his concluding remarks, Prof. Dr. Ali said that it is hoped that Abdul Wali Khan University will continue its journey of accomplishments and achievements in future too.
