A one day workshop on "Assessment Team Report Writing" was held on June 17, 2014 at the Main Campus, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan. Dean Faculty of Arts, Dean Faculty of Sciences, Director QEC and AT members from Department of English, Department of Islamic Studies and Department of Zoology of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan attended the workshop.

The workshop commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran. Deputy Director QEC, Mr. Shah Hussain Awan, welcomed the participants and introduced the resource persons. Ms. Mahwish Asmatullah, Assistant Director QEC, Shaheed Benazeer Bhutto University Peshawar, conducted the workshop.

Prof. Dr. Jehanzeb Khalil, Dean Faculty of Arts was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He acknowledged the efforts of resource person and enlightened the attendees with the importance of self assessment process at the department level as well as University level. He stressed on the Assessment Team members to play their active role in the self assessment process to prepare an effective implementation plans of the concerned departments.
